Mecha Pandita attacked Shunma Katsumata ahead of the duo’s upcoming singles match at STREET FIGHT CLUB on August 25.

Atsushi Onita controls Pandita, a 7,000-ton coffee robot, via remote.

Despite the successful sneak attack, Onita lamented a weak controller connection and wondered if it was due to constipation.

As promised, Endo named Kenny Omega as his challenger for the KO-D Openweight Championship at Ultimate Party 2020 on November 3 in Ota Ward General Gymnasium.

Due to travel restrictions, Endo admitted the match is unlikely to take place. He promised he has a surprise in mind if Omega is unable to compete.

Omega or not, two other matches have been announced for Ultimate Party.

CIMA and Soma Takao will face HARASHIMA and Naomichi Marufuji in a tag team match.

The bout was originally scheduled to take place at Wrestle Peter Pan in the Saitama Super Arena on June 7.

Additionally, Jun Akiyama will face Konosuke Takeshita in a singles match.

Elsewhere, Dragon Gate has announced a full sellout for its Dangerous Gate 2020 show on September 21.

The show will feature a steel cage six-way match between Big R Shimizu, BxB Hulk, Eita, KAI, Masato Yoshino and YAMATO.

The match stipulations, per the company’s English Facebook page, are: “The 6 competitors will enter in order based on numbers drawn on 8/12.

“1 & 2 will start the match. 3 will enter after 5 minutes. 4 will enter 4 minutes after 3. 5 will enter 3 minutes after 4, and 6 will enter after another 3 minutes.

“As per the usual steel cage rules, a competitor can escape the cage by climbing to the top and retrieving a flag. In the past, the match has started with all 5 flags available. This match will start with only 1, with 1 more added as the next competitor enters.

“The 5th and final flag will be added when the 6th and final competitor enters. As the 6th competitor will not join the match until 15 minutes have elapsed, they run the risk of only having a small number of flags available to aim for.”

The current entry order is Big R Shimizu, KAI, Eita, BxB Hulk, YAMATO and Masato Yoshino.

However, the order could change after a special six-man tag team match on September 9.

Big R Shimizu (first), Eita (third) and YAMATO (fifth) will team against KAI (second), BxB Hulk (fourth) and Masato Yoshino (sixth).

The winner of the six-man tag team match will have the ability to switch their entry number with someone else.

If they elect to not change their own entry number, they will be able to change someone else’s number.

Pro Wrestling NOAH

British promotion SuperClash Wrestling has challenged Naomichi Marufuji to face 2 Cold Scorpio for the WPW World Championship in 2021.

Marufuji responded to the challenge on Twitter, acknowledging his history with Scorpio in NOAH.

Marufuji said (translated to English by Google): “Is this a love call? I’m glad if this happens.

“When I was younger, Scorpio really taught me so much.”

As well as possibly bringing Marufuji to England in 2021, the company is also promoting a future Minoru Tanaka appearance.

A blurb on the company’s website reads: “We have a long history of bringing top Japanese Stars to the UK, we have recently been in talks with Minoru Tanka about making his long awaited UK Debut in 2021.

“As soon as this pandemic is over World Pro Wrestling matchmakers will be bringing the Japanese sensation to the UK.”

The company has brought in top Japanese stars in the past. Scorpio defeated Kendo Kashin to win the WPW World Championship in 2018.

Furthermore, AJ Styles defended the IWGP Heavyweight Championship against Doug Williams and Rampage Brown in a triple match in 2014, with Hiroshi Tanahashi and Jushin Thunder Liger competing on the same show.
