The full second round will take place in the Kanda Myojin Hall tomorrow, as well as the Dramatic Challenge battle royale featuring all wrestlers eliminated today.

The winner of the Dramatic Challenge will face the winner of Minoru Tanaka versus Shunma Katsumata.

The winner of the tournament will face Tetsuya Endo for the KO-D Openweight Championship at Ultimate Party 2020 on November 3 in Ota Ward General Gymnasium.

However, if Endo wins the tournament himself, he has promised he will name Kenny Omega as his next challenger.

All Japan Pro Wrestling announced the full field for this year’s Champion Carnival today.

The tournament takes place over 19 shows, the same as last year. As such, it would be reasonable to assume this year’s tournament will also feature 20 competitors split into two blocks.

Eight of last year’s competitors would not be able to participate in this year’s tournament due to the current travel restrictions; Bad Luck Fale, Jay White, Jeff Cobb, Jon Moxley, Juice Robinson, KENTA, Lance Archer (who also left the company earlier this year to sign with All Elite Wrestling) and Will Ospreay.
